Remove a custom attribute for the user schema in IAM when you no longer need it.

Open the navigation menu and click Identity & Security. Under Identity, click Domains.

Click the name of the identity domain that you want to work in. You might need to change the compartment to find the domain that you want.

On the domain details page, click Settings.

On the Settings page, click Schema management.

Click User attributes.

In the Filter attribute field, select Custom.

Click the for the custom attribute that you want to remove. Then click Remove.
Note
If data exists for the attribute, you can't remove it.

Confirm the removal of the attribute in the Remove custom attribute dialog box.
