Viewing Secret Contents

View the content of a secret stored in an OCI vault in plain-text or base64 format.

• 1. Open the navigation menu , select Identity & Security, and then select Vault.
  2. Under List scope, select the compartment that contains the secret that you want to view.
  3. On the Vaults page, select the name of the vault to open its details page.
  4. Under Resources, select Secret and then select a secret to view its details page.
  5. Under Table Scope, select Versions.
  6. Find a secret version from the list whose content you want to view, select Actions menu () and then select View Secret Contents.
  7. In the View Secret Contents panel, toggle the Show decoded Based64 digit switch to read the secret in plain text or base64 format.
  8. Select Close.
