Creating a Version of the Application Install Package

Learn how to create a new version of the app install package using Partner Portal, when you want to change the terms of use, image, or stack that is associated with the install package.

To create a new version of your app install package, follow these steps:

  1. Build your updated custom image or stack.
  2. Create a new artifact for your updated image or stack. See Creating an Artifact for Image Listing or Creating an Artifact for Stack Listing.
  3. Sign in to Partner Portal.
  4. Click Listings.
  5. Click the Published tab and find the listing you want to update. You can scroll the page or search by listing name. You can also search by selecting a service type from the drop-down list at the top of the page. By default, the listings are sorted by last updated with the most recently updated listing displayed first.
  6. Click the Action menu Action and then click New Version.

A version of the listing is created. You can view this listing in the Submitted tab. The earlier version of the listing is available till you publish the new version.
