Public Offer
Learn about the Public Offer (Pay As You Go) purchase option for Oracle Database@Azure.
The list of service offerings might vary between the Public Offer and the Private Offer.
You can purchase Oracle Database@Azure in the Azure Marketplace directly without contacting Oracle Sales, which is typically referred as the Public Offer.
With Public Offer, you have the flexibility to start and stop using the service at any time without any commitment on either usage or consumption period. You must create a new OCI tenancy during onboarding.
Billing and payment for the service is done through Azure. Payment for Oracle Database@Azure counts toward your Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC). Existing Oracle Database software customers can use the Bring Your Own License (BYOL) option or Unlimited License Agreements (ULAs). On your regular Microsoft Azure invoices, you'll see charges for Oracle Database@Azure alongside charges for your other Azure Marketplace services.
- A new OCI tenancy must be created during onboarding with Public Offer. Only Private Offer can link to an existing OCI tenancy.
- You can purchase one offer (either a Private Offer or a Public Offer) per Azure subscription.
