Learn what configuration to expect in the OCI Console for the Oracle Database@Azure service after account linking.
After you link an OCI account, you can confirm Oracle Database@Azure activation by checking a few pages in the OCI Console.
The following sections describe how to confirm subscription mapping, limits, and the creation of the Multicloudlink compartment:
Verify Subscription Mapping
- In the OCI Console, search "Subscription mapping" and click the link for this service.
- Confirm that subscription type "Oracle Database@Azure" is displayed.
- Select the Subscription ID link to view the details for the subscription. The Mapped date field displays the date that you performed the Oracle Database@Azure onboarding.
Verify Limits
- Search for "Limits, Quotas and Usage" in the OCI Console, then select Limits, Quotas and Usage to navigate to this page in the Tenancy Management section of the Console.
- In this screen, select the following values:
- Service: Database
- Scope: Pick the Availability domain (AD) that you want to check. If you don't know the AD, you can check the three AD choices in the Scope for your current region to see you limits in the table.
- Subscription: Select your Oracle Database@Azure subscription. This subscription ends in "ORACLEDBATAZURE."
- Compartment: Select the root compartment for your OCI tenancy.
Confirm that your tenancy has Available database infrastructure resources for Oracle Database@Azure.
Verify that the Compartments for Oracle Database@Azure Resources are in the Tenancy
- Search for "compartments" in the OCI Console, then select Compartments to navigate to this page in the Identity section of the Console.
- Confirm that your tenancy has a compartment with a name that starts with "MulticloudLink_ODBAA_" in the list of compartments. You can select the compartment name to see the compartment details page for this compartment. The compartment has a child compartment with Active Status.
- Now you can access the Oracle Database@Azure in the Azure console. In Azure, navigate to the Oracle Database@Azure product page by searching for "Oracle Database@Azure."
