Finding Missing Patches for Targets

Identify the confirmed targets for which the patches aren't applied in Fleet Application Management, and then act to update the targets with the latest patches.

    1. Open the navigation menu and click Observability & Management. Under Fleet Application Management, click Fleets.
    2. Click the name of the fleet that you want.
      Tip

To find a fleet by name, enter its name in the Search field.
    3. Under Resources (on the left side of the page), click Targets.
A list of confirmed targets is displayed, showing the target name, version, parent resource, and other relevant information required to track the patch compliance status of all targets.

To find a target, filter by entering a parent resource in the search field.

    4. Click the Actions menu (Actions Menu) to the rightmost of the target, and then select View missing patches.
    5. In the Missing patches panel, view the missing patches for the target and find how many of these patches are in critical, high, medium, or low severity state. After you have identified the severity level of the missing patches, you can decide when you want to schedule and apply patches.
    6. To export the missing patches to a CSV file, click Export missing patches.
