Getting Started with Generative AI Agents

Create an agent with one or more tools and an endpoint, and start chatting in the Generative AI Agents service.

Note

See Regions with Generative AI Agents for the regions in which Generative AI Agents is hosted.

Give users access to the Generative AI Agents service.
Prepare the files that you need to provide, depending on the tool's requirements.
- RAG tool:
  1. See the following data store type options, and perform required tasks as described in the guidelines.
  2. Create a knowledge base.
  3. (Object Storage only) If skipped in the previous step, create an ingestion job.

Create an agent by adding one or more tools. You can add the following tools:
If skipped in the previous step, create an endpoint.
Start chatting with the agent.
