Moving a Knowledge Base in Generative AI Agents

Move a knowledge base resource in Generative AI Agents from its current compartment into a different compartment.

  1. On the Knowledge Bases list page, select the knowledge base that you want to move. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Knowledge Bases.
  2. Select Move resource.
  3. Select the new compartment for the knowledge base, and then select Move resource.

    A notification displays indicating that the knowledge base resource is moved to the new compartment successfully. You might notice the knowledge base status changes to Updating. After the move is completed successfully, the knowledge base status changes back to Active.
