Updating an Endpoint in Generative AI

Update an endpoint’s name, description, content moderation setting, and tags in OCI Generative AI.

  1. In the navigation bar of the Console, select a region with Generative AI, for example, US Midwest (Chicago) or UK South (London). See which models are offered in your region.
  2. Open the navigation menu  and select Analytics & AI. Under AI Services, select Generative AI.
  3. Select the compartment that contains the endpoint.
  4. Click Endpoints.
  5. Click the name of the endpoint that you want to update.
  6. Click Edit.
  7. Update the name and description, as needed.
  8. To moderate the model's generated responses turn on the Content moderation toggle. This option is off by default. Learn about Content Moderation.
  9. Click Save.
  10. (Optional) Click Add tags to add tags to this endpoint. Then, click the Tags tab to view and manage the defined and free-form tags assigned to this endpoint.
