Editing an Artifact

Learn how to edit only the name of a Terraform template artifact.

To change the terraform file associated with the stack listing, you'll need to create a new version of the listing.

The values that you can edit for an OCI Compute Image artifact depends on the state of the listing with which the artifact is associated.

  • If you haven't submitted the associated listing for approval, you can edit all the fields of the OCI Compute Image artifact.
  • If the associated listing is in the submitted, published, or approved state, then you can only change the name of the OCI Compute Image artifact. To update any other value, do the following:
    1. Create a new version of the listing.
    2. Create a new artifact.
    3. Update the listing with the new package and artifact.
    4. Publish the listing with the updated artifact.

    For example, use this process to enable or disable snapshots or to update the compatible shapes for an OCI Compute Image artifact that is already associated with a published listing.

To edit an artifact, do the following:

  1. Sign in to Partner Portal.
  2. Click Artifacts. The Artifacts page displays information such as artifact name and other details related to the artifacts.
  3. Select an artifact, click Action Menu Icon next to the artifact, and then click Edit.
  4. Modify the information, and then click Save.
