Deleting a Database System
Delete an OCI Database with PostgreSQL database system.
Deleting a database system doesn't automatically delete its backups. Existing automatic backups for database system are retained until they expire. Existing manual backups for database system are retained until you delete them.
- Open the navigation menu and select Databases. Under PostgreSQL, select DB Systems.
- (Optional) In the List scope section, under Compartment, select a compartment.
- Select the database system that you want to delete.
- On the database system details page, select More actions and then select Delete.
- In the Delete database window, type "Delete" and select Confirm delete.
