Viewing a Business Event

View details about a business event.

The Calendar List View provides the following details about your business events:

  • Event type

  • Summary

  • Environment affected by the business event

  • Start date of the business event (in your selected timezone)

  • End date of the business event (in your selected timezone)

To see the full summary of a business event:

  1. Navigate to the Calendar Monthly View or the Calendar List View.

  2. Select the timezone you want to view events on. The selected timezone is displayed on the Calendar Dashboard.

  3. Click the event of your interest.

    The Business Event Details dialog box opens., displaying the following details:

    • Type: Specifies the business event type.

    • Category: Specifies the event type category. Available options include:

      • Date Period

      • Change

      • Other

    • Created By: Specifies the user who created the business event. Available options include:

      • Customer

      • Oracle

    • Summary: Provides a description of the business event.

      Note

      This information is available only for Oracle-added events.

    • Service: Displays a list of services affected by the business event, if any.

    • Environment: Shows a list of environments affected by the business event, if any.
      Note

      This information is only available for Oracle-added events and CPU Patching events created by customer users with the Authorized Approver role.

    • Start Date (in your selected timezone): Specifies the date and time when the business event starts.

    • End Date (in your selected timezone): Specifies the date and time when the business event ends.
