Using the Performance Reports

Use the Performance menu in the navigation menu to review host and database metrics for the selected environment.

See the following sections:

Note

The host and database metrics listed here are correct at the time of writing. Owing to the highly flexible and dynamic nature of Oracle Pulse, the host and database metrics in the live app may differ.

The Performance menu provides information about the hosts associated with your environments.

When you first access the Performance dashboard, a message will be displayed asking you to select an environment to report metrics for. To do this, follow the steps in the My Environments section in Working with Oracle Pulse.

By default, host and database metric reports on the Performance dashboard are generated in the GMT time zone. However, you can identify potential issues in your own time zone by changing the time zone in which the reports are generated, as explained in the Changing the Timezone of Your Reports section in Working with Oracle Pulse. This allows you to easily relate performance metrics reflected by individual host and database charts and metric comparison charts to anomalies occurring across the selected environment.

To access the Performance dashboard:

  1. Sign in to Oracle Pulse as explained in the Accessing Oracle Pulse section in Overview of Oracle Pulse.

The Pulse Dashboard is displayed by default.

  2. Click Performance in the navigation menu, under Metrics.

    The Performance page opens.
