Getting an Instance's Details

Follow these steps to get an instance's details in Resource Analytics.

    1. Sign in to Resource Analytics. If you need help finding the home page, see Listing Instances.
    2. Select Instances.
      The list of instances in that compartment is shown.
    3. To see more details of an instance, select the instance's name
      The Instance Details page for the instance is displayed.
    4. Select Tenancies.
      The Tenancies page for the instance is displayed. You can search the tenancies by status or last updated date.
      From the Actions menu (three dots):
      • (Optional) Select Copy tenancy OCID.
      • (Optional) Select Copy tenancy attachment OCID.
      • (Optional) Select View details.
    5. (Optional) Select Regions.
      The Regions page for the instance is displayed, including the instance details, the regions selected, and if data collection is enabled or not.
    6. (Optional) To see the tags associated with the instance, select Tags.
    7. (Optional) To review any workflows associated with the instance, select Workflows.
      The recent workflows for the instance are displayed.
      1. Select a workflow. Log messages is displayed by default.
      2. (Optional) Select Work Request Details to see and copy its OCID.
      3. (Optional) Select Error messages to view any error messages.
      4. (Optional) Select Associated Resources to see other resources associated with the instance.
  • Use the resource-analytics-instance command and required parameters to delete an instance:

    oci resource-analytics resource-analytics-instance get [OPTIONS]
