Managing a Protected Resource's Security Attributes

Manage a protected resource's security attributes in the Zero Trust Packet Routing (ZPR) service.

  1. On the Protected Resources list page, find the resource that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Protected Resources.
  2. Do one of the following depending on what you see:
    • Select the checkbox next to the resource that you want to manage security attributes for, then from the Actions menu, select Manage Security Attribute.
    • Select the checkbox next to the resource that you want to manage security attributes for, and then select Manage security attribute.
    Tip

You can select more than one resource to apply the same security attribute to all selected resources.

A panel displays the security attributes that are applied to the resource that you selected.

  3. (Optional) To add a security attribute to a resource, select Add Security Attribute.
    Caution

When you apply a security attribute to a resource, you must have a policy in place to allow access to the resource. Without the policy, the resource with the security attribute is inaccessible.
  4. From the Action menu for an existing attribute, you can select to remove that attribute from the resource or apply it to any other resources that you selected.
  5. Do one of the following depending on what you see:
    • Select Update.
    • Select Review, and then select Apply changes.
