Managing a Protected Resource's Security Attributes

Manage a protected resource's security attributes in the Zero Trust Packet Routing (ZPR) service.

  1. Open the navigation menu and click Identity & Security. Under Zero Trust Packet Routing, select Protected Resources.
  2. On the left side of the page, select the security attribute namespace that contains a security attribute applied to the resource.
    Caution

When you apply a security attribute to a resource, you must have a policy in place to allow access to the resource. Without the policy, the resource with the security attribute is inaccessible.
    Note

You can filter by compartment and resource type to narrow the list of resources.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the resource that you want to manage security attributes for.
    Tip

You can select more than one resource to apply the same security attribute to all selected resources.
  4. Click Manage security attribute. A panel displays the security attributes that are applied to the resource that you selected.
  5. (Optional) To add a security attribute to a resource, click Add security attribute.
  6. (Optional) Edit the security attribute value type for any existing security attribute. To change the security attribute namespace and security attribute, you must add a new security attribute.
  7. From the Action menu for an existing attribute, you can select to remove that attribute from the resource or apply it to any other resources that you selected.
  8. Click Review.
  9. Click Apply changes.
