Managing a Protected Resource's Security Attributes

Manage a protected resource's security attributes in the Zero Trust Packet Routing (ZPR) service.

  1. Open the navigation menu, click Identity & Security, and then click Zero Trust Packet Routing.
  2. Click Resources.
  3. Click Add security attribute to resource(s). A list is diplayed of resources that are available to apply security attributes to.
    Caution

    When you apply a security attribute to a resource, you must have a policy in place to allow access to the resource. Without the policy, the resource with the security attribute is inaccessible.
    Note

    You can filter by Compartment and Resource Type to narrow the list of resources.
  4. Select the resource that you want to apply security attributes to.
    Tip

    You can select more than one resource to apply the same security attribute to all selected resources.
  5. Click Manage security attribute. A list is displayed of any security attributes that are applied to the resource.
  6. Click Add security attributes to add a security attribute to the resource.
  7. (Optional) Edit the security attribute value type on any existing security attribute. To change the security attribute namespace and security attribute, add a new security attribute.
  8. Click Review.
  9. Select Confirm, and click Apply changes.
