Configure APM Browser Agent
The APM Browser Agent records user interaction with websites and sends browser spans and Real User Monitoring metrics to Application Performance Monitoring.
Real User Monitoring provides an insight into the experience of the real user directly from the browser, and identifies performance degradation by closely watching various aspects of an application, such as page loads, page performance/application performance index (Apdex), script errors, and AJAX calls.
APM browser agent allows you to upload data and monitor the experience of a user with the application without using an APM Java server agent. You must manually deploy the APM browser agent with your application to be able to monitor browser traces and spans in Trace Explorer and metrics in Metrics Explorer in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring service.
