View Details of an Autonomous Container Database
You view the details of an Autonomous Container Database by going to its Details page.

Procedure

Go to Autonomous Database in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Console.
For instructions, see Access Dedicated Autonomous Database in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Console.

In the side menu’s list of Autonomous Database resource types, click Autonomous Container Database.
The list of Autonomous Container Databases in your current Compartment is displayed.

In the side menu’s Compartment list, choose the Compartment containing the Autonomous Container Database whose details you want to view.
The list of Autonomous Container Databases refreshes to show those in the selected Compartment.

Click the name of the Autonomous Container Database whose details you want to view.
The Details page for the chosen Autonomous Container Database is displayed with information about the ACD.

- You can also schedule an on-demand maintenance to update RU (Release Update) along with the time-zone file or just the time-zone file for an ACD. Refer to Schedule a Quarterly Maintenance Update for instructions.
- Rotate the ACD's encryption key by clicking Rotate encryption key button and providing your confirmation on the confirmation dialog that appears.
- Edit the backup retention settings:
- Exadata Cloud@Customer deployments: Click the Edit backup settings to launch the Edit backup settings dialog, change the settings, and click Save changes.
- Oracle Public Cloud deployments: Change the backup retention policy (number of days) by clicking the Edit link next to Backup retention policy in the Autonomous Container Database information tab.
- Add tags by clicking the Add tags button under More actions. You can view the existing tags from the Tags tab.
- On Oracle Public Cloud deployments, you can enable Autonomous Data Guard on an ACD that is provisioned already. Refer to Enable Autonomous Data Guard on an Autonomous Container Database for instructions.

At the bottom of the page is a list of Autonomous Databases in the selected Compartment that use the chosen Autonomous Container Database is displayed. Using this list you can perform a variety of actions.

In the list of Autonomous Databases, click the name of the one whose details you want to view. |
Move the listed Autonomous Database to a different compartment |
In the list of Autonomous Databases, click the menu in the row of the one you want to move to a different compartment and then click Move resource. |
Copy the OCID of a listed Autonomous Database |
In the list of Autonomous Databases, click the menu in the row of the one whose OCID you want to copy and then click Copy OCID. The OCID is copied to your clipboard and the menu item changes to Copied. |
Add tags to a listed Autonomous Database |
In the list of Autonomous Database, click the menu in the row of the one you want to apply tags to and then click Add Tag(s). |
Enable Autonomous Data Guard |
Click Enable Autonomous Data Guard and follow the instructions in Enable Autonomous Data Guard on an Autonomous Container Database. |
Terminate a listed Autonomous Database |
In the list of Autonomous Databases, click the menu in the row of the one you want to terminate and then click Terminate. Then, in the Terminate Database dialog:
