Enabling Logs from the Logging Service
- Open the navigation menu and select Observability & Management. Under Logging, select Logs.
- select Enable service log. The Enable Resource Log panel opens.
- If necessary, change the compartment.

Select the service log from the Service list.
- For an Instance Security raw log, select Cloud Guard - Raw Logs.
- For a scheduled query results log, select Cloud Guard - Query Results.
- Select the resource from the list of available resources.

Select the type of log from Log Category:
- For raw logs, select Instance Security Raw Logs.
- For Query Results, select Instance Security Scheduled Query Logs.
- Enter a name for the log.

select Show Advanced Options and enter the following:
- Enter a compartment for the log location, and select a log group or create a new log group.
- Set the log retention period.
- select Enable Log.
