Editing the Name and Description

Update the name a description of a data asset.

• Console
• CLI
• API

• 1. On the Data assets page, click the data asset that you want to modify.
  2. On the details page of the data asset, click Edit.
  3. In the Edit data asset panel, update the name and description, as required.
     Note
     
     You can't use the following special characters in the name:

     & < > " ' / \ = ;

  4. Click Save changes.

• This task isn't available in the CLI.

• Run the UpdateDataAsset operation to update the name and description of a data asset.
