Editing a Resource Parameter

After you parameterize a source or target resource, you can edit the parameter name and add a description for the parameter.

If needed, see Parameters for Source and Target to understand how Data Integration adds parameters to resources in a data loader task.

  1. In the Create data loader task <name> or Data loader <name> page, go to the Source or Target step.
  2. Next to a resource parameter (such as a data asset or connection), click Edit.
  3. In the Edit parameter panel, you can:

    • Edit the name in the Identifier field.

    • Add a description in the Description field.

      A parameter description, if added, is displayed as a tooltip in the panel that's displayed for changing default parameter values at design time or runtime.

  4. Click Save.
