Reviewing and Validating the Task

Review the data loader task configuration before you publish the task to an application in Data Integration.

  1. On the Create data loader task or Data loader task: <task name> page, navigate to the Review and validate step.

    Validation of the task begins automatically when you navigate to the step.

    Configuration details are summarized in sections, for example, Source and Target.

    The result of the task validation is shown in the last section, Validation. If there are errors or warnings, click View messages. Resolve any errors before you publish the task.

  2. To change the configuration details in a step, click Edit in the section of that step.

    The configuration UI changes to display the full configuration details of that step. Make the necessary changes and navigate to the Review and validate step again.

    Click Revalidate, if needed.
