Removing Labels from Text

Follow these steps to remove a label from a text in Data Labeling.

    1. In the Dataset Details page:
      • If Data records is selected, there are two ways to get to the Add labels page:
        • Click the name of the text you want to label.
        • Click the action icon for the image you want to label, and click Label.
      • If Gallery view is selected, click the action icon for the text you want to label, and click Label.
    2. In the Add Labels page:
      • Click Clear annotations to remove all labels from the text.
      • If the annotation class is multiple labels, under Label, deselect the label to remove it from the text.
      • If the annotation class is entity extraction, move the cursor over the unwanted label, and click the delete label icon (-).
      • If the annotation class is entity extraction, under Label, hover the cursor over the label name, and click the delete label icon (-) to remove all annotations with that label.
    3. Click Save & next to save your changes and remove a label from the next text, or click Save to save your changes. If you don't want to remove a label from a text, click Skip to move to the next item of text. If you're at the last item of text, click Save & done to save your changes and return to the Dataset Details page.
    4. (Optional) Click Cancel to return to the Dataset Details page.
      If you have removed a label from a record, but not saved, you're prompted to confirm that you want to cancel.
  • Use the dataset update command and required parameters to remove a label from a text in Data Labeling that has a multiple label or entity extraction annotation class:
