JMS plug-in uses polling based approach to detect and monitor JVM instances while carrying out advanced features on macOS operating system. The polling interval is set to 10 seconds by default. As a result, Java applications that run less than 10 seconds on macOS managed instances may not be detected by JMS while performing advanced feature operations.
