Update a Custom Software Source with the Latest Packages
Immediately update packages to the latest versions available within constraints of custom software source's filters or package list in OS Management Hub.
Important
The source is updated within the constraints of the filters or package list used to create the source. If you specified a package version in the package list or filters, those packages won't be updated. They remain at the version specified.

- On the Software Sources list page, select the name of the software source. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Software Sources.

Tip
Don't see the option to update? Some custom software sources can't be updated. For example, you can't update a versioned custom source.
Use the oci os-management-hub software-source update-software-source-manifest command and required parameters to update a custom software source to use the latest available package versions (within constraints of the specified package list or filters used to create the source).

Run the UpdateSoftwareSourceManifest operation to update the custom software source packages to use the latest available versions (within constraints of the specified package list or filters used to create the source).
