For customers who use FastConnect or VPN Connect for connectivity between your on-premises network and VCN:

The Oracle Console will now display an alert if your connection is not redundant. This applies to situations where you have only one connection to Oracle, or if you have two connections that terminate on the same physical Oracle router. Both of these situations will cause a disruption to your connection when Oracle performs maintenance on the router. 

This new alert includes a link to a short topic that discusses how to remedy for redundancy.
