MySQL HeatWave: Change the Shape and Configuration of High Availability DB systems and DB systems with Read Replicas.

You can now change the shape and configuration of a high availability DB system without disabling high availability. You can also change the shape and configuration of a DB system with read replicas without deleting all the read replicas. The process is now similar to changing the shape and configuration of a standalone DB system.
