Identity plays the single most critical component to today’s security and IT infrastructure programs. In the latest release of MySQL Database Service, DB System users can be authenticated using IAM and IAM Identity Domains, providing increased security, centralized management, and ease of use. Administrators can leverage an individual user's identity and map to groups of users within IAM or IAM Identity Domains.
