Object re-encryption
- Services: Object Storage
- Release Date: July 07, 2020
You can now re-encrypt an object if you want to change the master encryption key that encrypts and decrypts the object's data encryption keys. When re-encrypting an object, you can choose to use a key managed by Oracle, a key that you created and control through a vault that you manage, or a customer-provided encryption key (SSE-C). For more information, see Managing Objects.
