You can now use custom metrics in Application Performance Monitoring. This new feature allows users to use additional trace data as a source for metrics. Metrics can be configured to include multiple dimensions, as well as a machine learning-based anomaly detection. These metrics can be used for alerts and be included in cross services dashboards.
