FastConnect using colocation or a third-party provider can now be configured to support MACsec encryption. For more details, refer to the MACsec Encryption section in the documentation.

When MACsec is enabled you choose an advanced encryption standard (AES) encryption algorithm, two security keys are exchanged and verified between two connected networks, and then a secure bi-directional link is established. The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Vault service securely stores the actual encryption keys.
