Use a compute instance as the functions development environment
- Services: Functions
- Release Date: October 23, 2019
You can now use an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure compute instance as your functions development environment. This option enables Oracle Functions to perform authentication and authorization using compute instance OCIDs, dynamic groups, and policies granting permissions to those dynamic groups. This approach removes the requirement for users to manage private keys.
For more information, see Option 3 in Configuring Your Client Environment for Function Development.
