New Release for Data Integration

A new release for Data Integration is now available!

You can now:

  • Connect to Oracle Fusion Applications as a data source by using Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher.
  • Connect to data sources in Microsoft Azure Synapse and IBM DB2.
  • Use the Map complex type in Oracle Object Storage hierarchical data entities.
  • Use functions to process hierarchical data. You can:
    • Infer the schema in a JSON string.
    • Convert a JSON string to an Array, a Struct, or a Map with a specified schema.
    • Create a JSON string from a Struct, an Array of Structs, a Map, or an Array of Map.
    • Create a Map from input key-value pairs.
    • Create a Struct from input key-value pairs.
    • Create an Array from input attributes.
  • Define custom functions in libraries and reuse the user defined functions in data flows and pipelines.
  • Orchestrate an OCI Data Flow application in a pipeline.
  • Create a task to schedule and trigger a REST API endpoint as a task or from within a pipeline.
  • Create a weekly schedule, and a schedule based on a cron expression.
  • Use new features in Data Integration operators and functions. You can:
    • Use Array, Composite (Struct), and Map complex data structures in the function operator.
    • Provide an alias for a selected pivot key value in the pivot operator.
    • Use a parameter for a part of the entity name when you create a new entity in a target operator.
    • Use the LPAD and RPAD string functions, ListAGG aggregate function, and INTERVAL date/time functions.
    • Let Data Integration infer the data type from the expression you add in the expression and aggregate operators.
  • Use new features in Data Integration applications. You can:
    • Map schema references.
    • Rerun tasks.
  • View the policies that are required when you:
    • Create a workspace.
    • Create a data asset for Oracle Object Storage, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, and Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing.
    • Test a connection in Oracle Object Storage, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, and Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing data assets.
  • Access resources to Data Integration's features from a service Overview page.
