Editing a Desktop Pool
Edit desktop pool parameters after creating the desktop pool in Secure Desktops. Editing the desktop pool does not change the properties of existing desktops in the desktop pool.
- Note
To perform this task, you must be the desktop administrator.- Open the navigation menu and click Compute. Under Secure Desktops, click Desktop Pools.
- Under List scope, select the compartment that contains the desktop pool.
- Click the desktop pool name.
- On the desktop pool’s details page, click Edit.

Adjust the values for any of the following editable desktop pool parameters:
- Name
- Description
- Pool start and stop times
- Administrator contact details
- Pool size (Maximum and Standby)
- Clipboard access
- Audio access
- Drive mapping access
- Regular schedule start and stop times

- Click Save Changes.
- Use the desktop-pool update command and required parameters to update an existing desktop pool:
oci desktops desktop-pool update --desktop-pool-id <ocid> [OPTIONS]
