Vision Policy Quick Set Up

You can use templates to quickly set up Vision policies to control who has access to it, and the type of access for each group of users.

The Vision template sets up policies to allow users in a specified group to access to the Vision service. You can also configure the template to allow these users to access custom models and analyze content in batches.

Navigating to the Template

Follow these steps to select the Vision template.

The template must be applied in tenancy's Home Region.

  1. In the Console, search for Stacks.
  2. Under Services, click Stacks.
  3. Click Create Stacks.
  4. Select Template as the Terraform configuration origin.
  5. Click Select Template.
  6. Click the Servicetab.
  7. Under Template Name, click Vision check box, so that it is selected.
  8. Click Select Template.

Configuring the Template

Follow these steps to configure the Vision template.

  1. Enter a Name for the policy. Avoid using confidential information.
  2. (Optional) Enter a Description to help you, or other users, find the policy template.
  3. Select the Compartment to create the Stack in.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Enter the Group Name for Security Policies. This is the group you are giving permission to access Vision.
  6. Enter the Root Policy Name. This is at the tenancy level.
  7. (Optional) If you want this group to create and access custom models, click Use custom models.
  8. (Optional) If you want this group to analyze images in batch, click Use batch analysis and select the Compartment.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Click Create.
    The policies are created to let your group access Vision.
