Logging for File Storage
Use this information to manage access and error logs for File Storage resources.
Note
Logging doesn't capture OS-level operations, such as file or folder deletion on a file system mounted on an instance. Logging captures actions such as creating or deleting a File Storage file system resource using the Console, CLI, or API.

The File Storage service uses the OCI Logging service to manage logging for resources. See Logging Overview and Enabling Logging for a Resource for general information on logging, including how to name log files and create log groups.
See Details for File Storage for information on how to understand File Storage log entries.
No additional policies are required to enable logging. You just need to have permission to configure the mount target.
Note
Logging is an option in the File Storage service. Standard limits, restrictions, and rates apply when enabling the logging features. See Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Logging for more information.
