Add Tabs to a Widget Group

You can add tabs to a widget group to further categorize related widgets.

Here's a scenario in which two tabs are added to a widget group to categorize the widgets displaying database performance metrics for two Autonomous Databases (ADB 1 and ADB 2) in a compartment.

  1. Go to the Dashboards page in the Database Management service.
  2. Click Create dashboard to create a new dashboard or open an existing dashboard in edit mode.
  3. On the Widgets tab, click the Add widget group and widgets icon (Add widget group and widgets) and click Add widget group.
  4. Add the tabs to the widget group container:
    1. Click the Actions icon (Actions) in the upper-right corner of the widget group container and click Add tab. Once the tab is added, specify the label (ADB 1) in the Tab label field on the Widgets tab.
    2. Click the Add tab icon (Add tab) in the upper-right corner of the widget group container to add one more tab. Once the tab is added, specify the label (ADB 2) in the Tab label field on the Widgets tab.
  5. On the Widgets tab, enter Autonomous Database in the search field to view the Oracle-defined Autonomous Database performance widgets.
  6. Drag and drop the Autonomous Database performance widgets on to both the tabs and configure the Autonomous Database filter to view the performance metrics of the ADB 1 and ADB 2 databases.
  7. Click Edit widgets on the Widgets tab and specify a name for the widget group and configure other inputs for the widgets in the group, if required.
  8. Click Save changes to save the dashboard.
