Moving a Firewall Between Compartments

You can move a network firewall from one compartment to another.

See Managing Compartments for information about compartments and access control.

1. Open the navigation menu and click Identity & Security. Under Firewalls, click Network Firewalls.
2. Find the firewall in the list, click the Actions menu (), and then click Move resource.
3. Choose a destination compartment from the list.
4. Click Move resource.
Use the network-firewall network-firewall change-compartment command and required parameters to move the network firewall to a different compartment.
oci network-firewall network-firewall change-compartment --compartment-id compartment_id--network-firewall-id network_firewall_id [OPTIONS]
