Adding International Markets and Currencies to Paid Listings

Partner Portal introduces the international expansion of paid listings to allow you to sell your listings internationally on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.

Note

International Expansion is subject to the Oracle Cloud Marketplace Territory and Export Compliance Policy and the Oracle Cloud Marketplace Paid Listings: Tax and Market Place Transactions by Publisher Policies of the Publisher Agreement you have already signed to participate as a US partner in the Marketplace program.

To make a listing available on the Cloud Marketplace for a customer, it is dependent on the Market and the Currency. There may be more than one Market in a country.
Note

Before this release, you were only able to sell in US Markets and price your listing in US dollars. With this release, we are enabling additional Markets for the United Kingdom, Canada, Brazil and their local currencies.
The countries and currencies supported in the initial international expansion include:
Supported Countries and Currencies
Country Currency
Australia AUD, USD
Austria EUR, USD
Belgium EUR, USD
Brazil BRL, USD
Canada CAD, USD
Chile CLP, USD
Colombia COP, USD
Czechia EUR, USD
Denmark EUR, USD
Finland EUR, USD
France EUR, USD
Germany EUR, USD
Greece EUR, USD
Italy EUR, USD
Ireland EUR, USD
Japan USD
Lithuania EUR, USD
Luxembourg EUR, USD
Mexico MXN, USD
Netherlands EUR, USD
Poland EUR, USD
Portugal EUR, USD
Romania EUR, USD
Saudi Arabia SAR, USD
Spain EUR, USD
Sweden EUR, USD
Switzerland CHF, USD
Canada CAD, USD
United Arab Emirates AED, USD
United Kingdom GBP, USD
United States USD

You must select both the Market and enter a price in the currencies in which you want to sell the listing. To be available for purchase and launch by a customer, the listing must match the customer’s OCI subscription country and currency. For example, if you set a listing pricing with Brazilian real (BRL) but do not select the Brazil Market, the listing cannot be launched in Brazil.

US dollars (USD) is the base currency for a listing and a USD price is required. When a listing is priced with US dollar (USD), you are not required to sell in any US Markets. Additionally, you are not required to price a listing with any other local currencies regardless of the selected Markets. Some non-US Oracle customers purchase from Oracle's Global Price List and as a result their OCI subscription is in USD. For example, you can make your listing available for sale in the UK without supporting pound sterling (GBP). By doing so, only UK customers who have an OCI subscription in USD will be able to launch the listing.

A new listing version is required to add Markets and local currency prices. If you have never entered a price in a currency, you can add it to the listing at any time with a new listing version. For example, if a listing is published with the USD and BRL price, you can edit the listing, add CAD price, and publish it again.

If you no longer want to make your listing available in a Market or local, non-US currency, you can disable the Market or local currency price by creating a new listing version and removing the unwanted items.

Note

Price changes are not supported for USD or local currency during the initial expansion. If a price change is required, a new listing must be created.
