Generate New Token

You can generate new token either from JDK release details page or from Tokens tab.

To generate a new token, click Generate new token. Token management screen appears. Review or provide the following information:

  1. The Name of the token is auto-generated. You can edit the name, if required. Ensure that the name is unique in the tenancy.
  2. Enter the Description of the token.
  3. Select the associated Java version. If you are generating the token from JDK release page, this field will be updated automatically.
  4. The Expiry date field is populated with a default value based on the JDK version, the EOSL date of the version, and the license terms. You can edit this date and select any date up to the Max Expiry date for the chosen JDK version. See Table 4-1 for details on the Default expiry date and Max expiry date.

  5. Click Generate.

The generated token get listed in the Tokens table with the status Active.
