The deployment of the Java Management Service plug-in fails on instances using Oracle Linux 6, RHEL 6, and CentOS 6 platforms due to technical constraints during the installation of Oracle Cloud Agent or Oracle Management Agent. However, for instances using the OL6 platform on OCI, you can deploy the Java Management Service plug-in by following the instructions in the Manual Method. Advanced features will fail on instances within the fleet where the Java Management Service plug-in was not successfully deployed.
