Billing for Lakehouse storage is based on the amount of data stored in the HeatWave storage layer on object storage for MySQL HeatWave Lakehouse queries. Billing for Lakehouse storage starts when Lakehouse is enabled and the first Lakehouse external table is loaded into HeatWave. The billing stops only when Lakehouse is disabled or the HeatWave cluster is deleted. Billing for Lakehouse storage continues even when the HeatWave cluster is stopped.
