In MySQL version 8.2.0 or higher, elastic resize of HeatWave cluster allows you to add or reduce the number of Heatwave nodes with no downtime or service disruption. During the resize operation, you can continue to run queries, load new tables, and execute DML statements.

This feature is currently not available with HeatWave Lakehouse.
