Object Storage now a offers a distinct Infrequent Access storage class tier to address the need for "cool" storage. This storage tier is ideal for data that you access infrequently, but that must be available immediately when needed. Storage costs for the Infrequent Access tier are lower than the Standard Object Storage tier. At object upload time, you decide which storage tier to upload to.
