The Events service now provides "critical" events for DB systems, and database nodes and databases located in DB systems. Critical events deliver information about several types of critical conditions and errors in Oracle Database software and related infrastructure. For example, there are critical events for database hang errors, and availability errors for databases, database nodes, and DB systems to let you know if a resource becomes unavailable.
