Conda environment additions and removals

The following conda environments are introduced:

  • The General Machine Learning for CPU and GPU on Python 3.7 conda environments include libraries for data manipulation, supervised machine learning through sklearn, xgboost, lightGBM, Keras (with TensorFlow), and Oracle AutoML. These environments also include a model explainability library (Oracle MLX) and the full distribution of ADS. The slug names are generalml_p37_cpu_v1 and generalml_p37_gpu_v1.

The following conda environments have been removed due to a critical vulnerability within the Apache Log4j module (CVE-2021-44228):

  • Parallel Graph AnalytiX 21.4 for CPU on Python 3.8 (version 1.0)
  • Parallel Graph AnalytiX 21.3 for CPU on Python 3.8 (version 1.0)
  • PySpark 3.0 and Data Flow CPU on Python 3.7 (version 2.0)
  • PySpark 3.0 and Data Flow CPU on Python 3.7 (version 1.0)
  • PySpark 2.4 and Data Flow CPU on Python 3.7 (version 2.0)
  • PySpark 2.4 and Data Flow CPU on Python 3.7 (version 1.0)

If you have created published conda environments by cloning this environment, we strongly encourage you to remediate the vulnerability.
