The number of functions and applications you can create in a region is controlled by service limits. Previously, default service limits allowed you to create 10 applications and 20 functions per region.

The default service limits have now increased, according to your payment method:

• If you are a Monthly or Annual Universal Credit customer, you can now create 20 applications and 500 functions per region by default.
• If you are a Pay-as-You-Go or Promo customer, you can now create 10 applications and 50 functions per region by default.

If you need more capacity, you can submit a request to increase the default service limits (see Requesting a Service Limit Increase).
