Update Required for JMS Policies - Transition to use Resource Principals by Sep 30, 2023 GMT

To enhance the security and efficiency of the JMS service, JMS is switching from the use of service principals to resource principals and users are required to review and update their existing JMS policies before September 30, 2023 GMT to ensure continued service functionality.

Action Required:

  1. If you have set up JMS policies using the onboarding wizard, running the wizard again will help updating your policies.
  2. If you have manually configured JMS policies, review and update the policies created in Step 8, 10, 11, and 12 of Manual Setup in Setting Up Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for Java Management Service section of the user guide.

Additionally, if you have enabled advanced features in any fleet, it is necessary to either -

  1. Enable a previously disabled advanced feature
    or
  2. Re-enable (Disable and then enable) any previously enabled advanced feature

in at least one fleet within each compartment that contains JMS fleets with advanced features. Alternatively, you can manually edit the policies mentioned in the  Enabling Advanced Features section of the user guide.
