Autonomous Database on Dedicated infrastructure: Restrict Access Using a Network Access Control List
- Services: Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure, Autonomous Database on Exadata Cloud@Customer, Base Database
- Release Date: May 28, 2021
You can now set up network access control lists (ACLs) to allow specific IP addresses or CIDR blocks to access an Autonomous Database on dedicated Exadata infrastructure in the Oracle public cloud.
An ACL allows you to formulate a fine-grained access control policy by limiting your Autonomous Database's network access to specific applications or clients. See Managing an Autonomous Database for information on adding an ACL to an existing database. See Creating an Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure for information on creating a new database that uses an ACL.
