New Release for Data Catalog

A new release for Data Catalog is now available. It includes the following key enhancements.

You can now:

• Create a persistent metastore for OCI Data Flow in Data Catalog.
• Automatically discover the data sources that are available in your tenancy and use them to create data assets.
• Update values of custom properties in bulk for harvested relational database objects with Microsoft Excel-based export and import.
• Use time-bound Pre-Authenticate Request-based connections for Object Store.
• Create SSL-enabled data assets for securely configured relational and Kafka data sources.
