A new release for Application Performance Monitoring (APM) is now available with the following new features:

• Sampling: The APM Java Agent and APM Tracer support sampling implementation allowing sampled traces to yield representation of all traces. For more information, see Configure APM Sampling.
• Java Flight Recorder (JFR) Integration: The APM Java Agent and APM Tracer support the recording of APM spans as JFR events. For more information, see Record APM Spans as JFR Events.
• JAX-RS Probe: The APM Java Agent supports the monitoring of JAX-RS Client and JAX-RS Server calls.
